    What size KONG to get?

I am getting a dobie puppy... that will prolly grow up to be 75-100 pounds... I am assuming I will need to purchase small - large ones as the pup grows.... is this right? Don't wanna assume..

I would get a relatively big one, (Probably one designed for a fifty-sixty pound dog) for while it is growing up, and once it is full grown, get one according to his size! They have weight suggestions on there, but if your pup is a big chewer, you might want to get a bigger one, or the black kong.

It's really hard to say, especially with you not even knowing if your pup will be a heavy chewer or not. I have an 80 pound Golden that doesn't chew on the at all, only licks the good stuff out of the inside. I have a 55 pound setter mix that uses the black one (for the big chewers) and chews the heck out of it. I would definately stay away from the puppy Kongs with that big of a breed. You'll be buying a new one every other week, even with a moderate chewer. I would agree with Jaylie and probably say Large , the red one to start with.

I would personally go ahead and get the big one. There really is no harm in getting on that is to big (at least that I see). My Mom has 2 Yorkies and a Lab/Chow mix. The Yorkies play with the Lab's toys all the time including Kong.
