Hello all! I am new to the forums and I have come to seek some help!

I have a 15 week old Corgi puppy, female, who is very aggressive. She bites at me, fighting with the other two dogs in the house, nipping, etc..Plus she is urinating all over the house. We are currently crate training her. We offer treats for when she goes outside successfully along with praise. IToday when we were outside she went pee and poop, but no sooner then we walked into the house, she peeing inside the house right infront of me. She goes anywhere she wants it seems. Its driving me crazy!! I dont know what else to do. Could this be a behavioral problem as opposed to just potty training misahps?

ANY HELP WOULD BE WONDERFUL!! PLZ RESPOND..

getting tired....so tired...

1) What do you do when she goes to the bathroom right in front of you?
I yell NO very loud and she just stares at me. lol. I feel so helpless.

2) Do you practice NILIF? Um, what is NILIF?

3) Has the dog been to a vet recently? He just had her last set of baby shots two weeks ago..and in one week is getting her rabies shot.

4) How much time do you work with her in training? I am pretty much home all day, so I let her out frequently. I found her towel in her kennel saturated with urine.. She will go outside, but then run inside and go right in front of me. She does have an exercise area to use also connected to the back doggy door.

5) How much exercise do you give her? It kinda varies..Depending on how much time I have at home..and sometimes more on some days than others. We have two other adult dogs who she rough houses with whenever she gets the chance.

6) Has she been to puppy school? I was told no puppy school until at least 6mos.

BTW, thanks for the speedy reply!!

Take it a step further and take her outside again...if she eliminates outside again, at least you'll have one more opportunity to praise her.

Um, what is NILIF?
Nothing in Life is Free You can thank opokki for posting this.

I'll assume then she doesn't have a urinary tract infection.

In training I mean, how much do you spend time teaching her commands, if anything. Does she know how to sit, and lay down? Does she know stay? Can she roll over? Does she know that the couch is off limits? Those kinds of things.

Rough housing does not equal exercise. Yes, it will get your dog tired, but exercise needs to be under your control and command. Dogs are travelers, and they need to walk...especially with their pack leader (that's you and your family). She is getting to the age where you should be walking on a daily basis. If you want a well mannered dog, you need to teach your dog to walk on heal and follow it's leader.

Some schools start as early as 12 weeks. This is when your dog is very impressionable, so I would recommend finding a school that caters to puppys at your dog's age. It sounds like whoever you spoke to only caters to older pups. Don't take 6 months as a rule, it's not, keep looking around for another school, or become proactive in finding the tools you need to teach your pup manners and obedience. Because it sounds like this is where you need to start.

All dogs, young and old, need a fair amount of mental, physical, and social stimulation to live a happy and balanced life. Evaluate if you are giving enough one on one training, exercise, and time meeting new people, places, and dogs. If you can give this to your dog she will come around to being a pleasant and gentle pet. Otherwise, expect her behaviors to become worse. Really, it's up to you. Good luck!
