    Question Spit up? Dry heaving?

My new puppy (9 weeks old) started dry heaving last night like she swallowed something she shouldn't have. This kept both of us up all night. Nothing came up except for spit. This continued this morning. The weird thing is, she is still happy and playful. I actually taught her how to lay down this morning despite her heaving. That being said, the more she rests it seems the more frequent the heaving. Is she just hungry? Has a cold? or is this an indicator of a serious problem? The kicker is she went to the vet on Friday, and had a clean bill of health....any suggestions to soothe her?

It could be kennel cough, but it also could be something more serious.
Please call your vet tomorrow, or see an evet if she starts getting lethargic or more symptoms appear. Time is of the essence when it's a puppy.

I would very happily pay to have my pup examined again just for my own peace of mind.
