My yorkie pup is currently 10 weeks old. For the past week and a half she has lost her appetite, wont drink water, and has become immobile. It started out that she had blood in her stool and vomiting. I took her to the vet and they said she was dehydrated and gave her an iv to get her hydrated and then some medication thru the iv to help her stop vomiting. The vomiting has stopped along with the diarrea but now her stool has become very firm and like a coal colored black. I took her to the vet yesterday and he says that she is doing fine and sent me home with some NutriCal. Late last night she started having seizures to where she becomes stiff and liquids start coming out of her mouth. I called the vet immediately and he said that she may be hypoglacemic and to give her some honey or Karo syrup under her tongue. I have done this and there is still NO improvement. So far the past week I have been giving her yogurt, pedialite, NutriCal, and some medication that the vet gave me. There has been NO improvement.
I was reading another post that was on here about the Parvo Virus where they had given their pup some Tamiflu. I have even thought about trying this but the vet said that EVERYTHING that came back negative for Parvo and other viruses. Has anyone ever had this problem with their puppy and if so do you have any suggestions as to what else I can do for her?

Thank you all in advance!

Honestly, if my dog were having seizures and the vet had no recommendation for this (or no other one then what you've tried) then I'd be looking for a second opinion. Seizures aren't usually something that can be left without any kind of management, medicine, etc. without causing damage.

I'm not saying that your vet is wrong or anything like that, just that this would be an issue I'd really want to be handled properly. Have you actually taken your dog back in since the seizures started or only talked with the vet over the phone? That's another thing I would suggest as it's easier to diagnose something when actually examining the dog.

I called the vet this morning and he told me that there was nothing he could do and to give her some honey under her tongue. I just got off of the phone again with another vet and I am on my way to take her down there and drop her off so they can check her out. They said they are going to give her some iv's and get some medicine in her before she dies. I am taking her to a different vet now though. I am not sure if the one I have been taking her to even cares if she makes it or not.
