Our dogs toe is swollen: has anyone seen anything like this?

We were wondering if anyone has seen anything like this. Our English Mastiff has a very swollen toe! We don't know what happend, we woke up a couple days ago and it was like this. We have been giving him an antibiotic and cleaning it with peroxide, but it isn't getting any better. Thanks for any help!

For some reason I can't add a picture, can anyone tell me how? Thanks!

Get it checked out by a vet. I know it sounds minor but these can be infections that will go into the joint, then turn the whole body septic.

I had a dog that I thought had just broken a nail. His toe swelled. Vet said no big deal. Wait and see. Well it didn't get better. It turned out that he had a benign tumor growing in the nail bed that was pressing into the bone, and killing the bone. Left untreated, it would have killed off the bone in his leg. He had to have his toe amputated.

Are you giving the correct antibiotics? They aren't all the same. If you haven't had the vet look at it yet then you may be making things worse.
