I believe each 10lb box makes between 40-43lbs of rehydrated food. How long it lasts is dependent on the dog, how much he/she eats. The price varies. I use the Honest Kitchen's Embark, I pay $75 locally, sometimes I have to buy it elsewhere and it's $82 there. I also use the Keen, which is $50 a box. I've never used the Verve, if I remember correctly, its quite grainy and isn't the first ingredient rye?

Verve is meant for low activity dogs and dogs prone to weight gain like Bulldogs. It's actually their first recipe.

Also, how much you feed your dog will vary according to level of activity, metabolism, etc. My dog is around 45 lbs. A 10 lb bag lasts me exactly one month.

I didn't know what the Verve was meant for. I use it for only one meal, breakfast, for three dogs, all between 24-34lbs each so it's hard for me to judge how long it lasts, esp when one eats the Keen if I can find it. I used the Embark to help the dog who was obese when we adopted her. I don't think I could use the Verve, I just don't like the ingredients.
