All Grown Up...

Haven't posted since may... back when my pups were... well, pups.. at around 8 months. They're about 14 months old now, and getting along pretty good, with the exception of a bout here and there, as shown in the pictures below.

Oh, and they've gotten pretty big... Oakley is 77lbs, Juno is about 73lbs. He's taller, but she's huskier.

Yes... everyone says 'they HAVE to be related... I mean look at them'...

I mean, the likelihood is there that they are related... for mutts, they look very similar, and they were both from the same city (small, 100,000 people), even though Oakley is from animal services, and Juno is from the humane society. Also, they are guessed to be the same age. However, I cannot bring myself to pay for DNA testing to be sure, guess it's just not that important to me. If they weren't siblings at birth, they are now. Definitely fight like brother and sister, one is always harassing the other.

It's possible they're relatived down the road lol It's funny they look like TWINS! I bet you get comments all the time lol

Ever got the wrong dog messed up lmao How would you know the one is in trouble lol

Haha... I have scolded the wrong dog before... when they do something quick out of the corner of my eye. When they have their collars on, it's much easier to tell them apart. But we leave them off in the house for their safety, as Juno has had her teeth caught in between the nylon fibers of Oakley's collar before.

They do have some differences at second look, Oakley is a little darker, is taller with a thinner frame, with a longer snout. Juno is a little shorter, lighter and with a thicker coat, her eyes are a lighter shade as well. But, even knowing all this, I've petted Juno and said 'hey buddy..' thinking it's Oakley, then taking a second look.

Wow, I love them!!! They are gorgeous! They look very "German shepherd" to me. If they were not siblings, I would be shocked.

OMG that's horrible getting mad at the wrong dog lmao Maybe you should mark their tails eh?
