| Re: Basil's ready for Winter! As far as I know, he's just a big pap. He's a rescue. I've heard that oversized paps are relatively common He's about 14 inches at the shoulder and 18 lbs.
Also, I had someone ask me if he was a fox once, and they were completely serious, lol! |

People ask if Rose is a fox all the time. |

I almost got the squirrel costume, because Papillons were called Squirrel Spaniels at one point because of their tail, but I decided to go with the lobser costume so I could dress as a chef and we'd match Quote:

He is always tripping me he's so clingy XD He's always by my side or in my lap, with the exception of when we're at the dog park. Then he runs of and does his own thing, but frequently checks up on me to make sure I haven't run off! |

| Re: Basil's ready for Winter! Never knew Basil is such a clingy dog!
Nia is actually not that clingy. When we're walking around she will stay pretty close to me but if we're at the dog park or any other off leash park she can get quite far away from me! Half the time she's just a little white dot somewhere in the distance!
At home she'll follow me around until she thinks I have nothing interesting going on like if I sit on the couch with a laptop or something she thinks I'll most likely ignore her so she'll go upstairs by herself to either sleep or play with her toys.
Only if she's really sleepy or something she'll settle down beside my on the couch. But not usually on me, just with her back against me or something like that. |

But not usually on me, just with her back against me or something like that. | He's just the way I like him Lol, Saturday morning he was curled up on top of my feet, and if it were a school day I swear he would have made me late! XD It was just too cute. Whenever I'm on the computer, he's always either laying beside me, or curled up under the chair, and whenever I'm on the couch, he's either on the couch with me, or under the dining room table (He claimed that spot as his den, and that's were he keeps all of his toys, lol!)
Unfortunately his clingy-ness has probably played a major factor in him developing Separation Anxiety, and I have to work on encouraging him to be independent on occasion to help him get over his SA! |
