| Re: Pics of my pups Thank you for the warm welcome! You will love sledding, I don't do skijoring as we have the sled, I do bike with my dogs for conditioning using the springer bike attachments, and we have a rig we use during the Fall, and Spring! |

| Re: Pics of my pups well my dog Hawkeye will finally be old enough this winter to start sledding with him. He will be 20 months by the time the snow is good enough for sledding. A friend of mine has another Aussie, a 70 pound 3 year old male, who is very strong and loves to run so I'm hoping to "borrow" him to run on my team with Hawkeye and Kechara. Quote:

They are GORGEOUS! | hey you don't need huskies for sledding. I've seen, German Pointers, Golden Retirivers, and I do it with my Australian Shepherds.

| Re: Pics of my pups This is true, you don't need huskies, I have seen many breeds pulling sleds!
I will say though that Sibes are not as difficult as alot of people say they are as long as they get their exercise, and training in they are wonderful companions! Mine all live in the house, and have excellent manners! |

| Re: Pics of my pups all your dogs are so pretty
our husky was named chaser. we didn't name him, he came to us named by a 4 year old... he chased her so he was "chaser". i loved him so much. he was the definition of "dog" to me. perfect! he didn't pass away 17 years ago, the picture was taken that long ago. he passed away about 7-8 years ago.
the other dog in the picture was buttons because "he was cute as a button" when we got him. |
