Autumn in the Woods
We've managed to catch a few not-so-rainy days and have had several excursions in the woods this month.
Hike 1
The beginning of the blue-blazed trail, which we traveled a few weeks ago. It was such a nice day for a hike.
Beside the pond..

Looking out at another, swampy lake..
A golf course borders this section of the trail. Funny how different the light is.
Looking overhead..

This is where we turned back. We were tired, and didn't want to walk uphill anymore.
One of the markers.
Marge takes a dip in the pond..

Pawprints on the bridge.
The end of another adventure!
Hike 2
This was a short hike up to an overlook. I thought it'd be more colorful up there than it was, but it was still really nice!

Hike 3
Same as the first one, but we didn't get to go as far because of all the wind. Beautiful color this time out.
By the pond again..

Posing among the leaves.
One more stop before we go..
The biiiig lake.
Shame it was such an overcast day, but we really enjoyed ourselves.
And, lastly, for those of you who don't follow the agility thread, I thought I'd include this video of Marge doing a practice run at a trial site yesterday (cross your paws for us that she will be brave enough to compete tomorrow)
YouTube Video If you are able to see this message it means that you don't have flash installed or that the video server is down.
Thanks for looking! This was a big post, I know, lol.

Look at Marge go!
I love it! This is the dog that was so fearful? She is doing great. A little more control and you are going to have a wonderful little agility dog. She attacks each obstacle without fear or hesitation.
I loved all of the hike pictures. What a lovely place to walk your dog.
Good Luck, I know you will do a great job!

Beautiful fall pictures! The colors are just brilliant everywhere this fall, aren't they? I especially love the pics of the fall colors reflected in the water. And of course Marge is gorgeous!
The video is AWESOME! - it looks like she is doing so good, I'm proud of both of you! Our paws & fingers are crossed that she'll be OK to compete tomorrow! Will be waiting to hear how it goes!

Great pics, MM! They are all beautiful.
I don't know why, but I really like the second pic.
In the yawning pic, Marge looks a lot like a greyhound.
