Thank you. Well Bella isn't exactly a pit bull (although I like to think she is

). She is 1/2 boxer (or perhaps a 1/2 a boxer mix) and we don't know who her father was (she is a HS adoptee). But me and my other sister (and the lovely people of this forum) have decided that she definitely has some pit in her. She is actually the reason I love bully breeds now (and my sister's pit Isis who I would steal if I could

).
As for my sister.. she has met bella once and did love all over her. She doesn't hate all pits or bullys but she is overly cautious of them because she is an er nurse so she has seen the bad side of pits. She also has two disabled children so when I was describing how pits make good family pets (not for her though as she needs a mellow dog) she said all the stuff about how one day they'll "turn on you'. I think what she meant was that you can't trust them with kids (like if a kid pulled its tail it would bite).
I hope to show her the good side of bullys as I will probably own another someday. She does truly love dogs but I think is sort of "brain washed" by the bad images she has seen personally in her line of work and the fact that she lives in south Florida where bullys are banned (shedding an even worse image).
