Fall Photos of Nubs and of the colors.
I love the colors of Fall, I just hate knowing what Fall brings (winter). This weekend is going to be peak color, but I have to work all weekend, and I couldn't pass up peak color. Today the temps were in the upper 60's low 70's and a PERFECT day to go out to the state park and do a small amount of hiking (got out there too late to do some real hiking thanks to a few other obligations today).

Fall colors in Lower Michigan:




A family of Trumpeter Swans (They mate for life, and morn their partners passing when one dies.)

Because Trumpter Swans are endangered, one swan from the mating pair is tagged with a bright green neck tag.

Yes... He's on a Flexi leash. Nice when you have to take photos and not have a dog jerking your hand...

Beautiful pictures. Nubs is so handsome! Were these taken at Kensington Park? You said Lower Michigan, so I was trying to think of some parks. The lake pictures remind me of Kensington.

That is the main thing I hate about Texas...there are no seasons! I've actually worn shorts on Christmas before...ugh! I grew up in Ohio and really miss the fall colors, so thanks for the memories DM.

I love the one of Nubs on the picnic table. It's like he's saying..."I am King of all I can see, and the stuff I can't see". He is so handsome, as usual.

How's the little guy doing?

Beautiful pictures. The leaves here hit prime and then we were hit with several days of rain which means prime to bare trees in what seemed like 20 minutes. I have such lovely trees in my yard but somehow I only see them as mess makers. ha ha

Nubs is such a handsome boy and looks so proud standing up on that picnic table. He seems to know he can take on the whole world.

If your speaking about Little One, He is in his new home. I haven't talked to them in a bit, but last time I did, he was doing great and their dog just loved him.


Thanks everyone. It was nice to enjoy the weather one last time. I still can't believe how some turned out. Better then I could ever hope for.
