Man it is getting cold

I was sitting in our back room with the dogs this afternoon. We had a space heater on and both dogs decided to take a nap near it. I thought it was cute the way they were both cold and decided to warm up.

My dogs LOVE the cold. it's been dropping to 30F at night and hovering around 45-50F during the day. They only start complaining when it gets down to -15F

I guess mine are wimps. The Pomeranian is laying by it now and she is usually the hot blooded dog.

DJ, my short haired little wimp, RUNS to the vent whenever the heat kicks on & he loves laying in front of the fireplace when I it on.

My husband says the one acts like a cat. Sorry no cats in this house. I am a DOG lover.

Mine don't like the cold either. We have snugglesafe heating pads for them to lie on at night

We even go a step further. The smaller one sometimes sleeps under the top cover if it is really cold. The larger one? Well this is her first full winter. She was born close to Christmas of last year.
