Okay these pictures are actually a week old, I just haven't gotten them up until now. It's amazing how much she's changed in a week!

My camera died when I got to the park last Monday. It had been making funny sounds for a few days and I think the motor that moves the lens died. In any event, getting it repaired would cost more than the camera is worth and take a while...but fear not! A new camera is on its way and will be here soon (but not soon enough!).

*ETA: Kim is now racing in zoomy-circles around the basement with Mira hot on her heels (taking shortcuts and ducking under things to keep up). I was laughing so hard there are tears in my eyes. I swear Kim's as much of a puppy as Mira is...she loooooves fun.

FWIW she will be constantly assessed as she gets older and more mobile. If there is a shadow of a doubt at any time she will go on a long lead. This park, however, is huge and surrounded by a school, a housing divisions (whose backyards are all fenced, thus fencing two sides), and a large field so it would be a good 1/4+ mile dash to the nearest road.

What camera did you end up getting?

She knows how to work the system lol.

Canon Powershot SD1200 IS. Basically the newer version of the one I had. I would have loved to finally get my dSLR but...let's just say we're called Cheesehead "Cam" this week

Still waiting on my new camera...and Mira's growing so fast I had to adjust her harness for the third time already

She went with me to a conformation show the other day and there was a 16 week old Flatcoat there, also for socialization. They were both ecstatic to see another Flatcoat and played with one another for about 45 minutes because we parted ways. This from a puppy who has confidently disregarded every other puppy she has met up til now. Breedist little girl
