Jake my Rotti

I just bought a photocopier/scanner for the home - and I was able to scan old photos of Jake my beloved Rotti - man do I still miss him and it's been over a year. Any digitial photo's I had were not the best as he was not feeling the greatest. Quality might not be great on these - but I'm still happy to be able to copy them. I hope you enjoy the pic's of my bud...

I think he was doing Yoga - downward dog!

Re: Jake my Rotti

Thanks everyone - really. I know we all love our furkids -- it`s always harder when they are not around (he did make it to 12 so I`m happy for that) Thanks Inga - yup those pictures did capture his personality - he would just stare at me like that and melt my heart.

I didn`t know if I should have put these pics under Pets Memorial -but I couldnt.

That is my favorite picture as well - it is my screen saver right now.

Thanks JenD and Megan - he was such a gentle dog that his personality made him that much more beautiful! Looking back now, I could have done Therapy work with him.

Re: Jake my Rotti

my Gretta LOVED the snow. She would run outside put her nose in the snow and start runnig. She looked like a little snow plow! then she would stand up to look around with a heapping pile of snow atop her nose! LOL

the butt in the air is cute too...like he is saying "hey does the snow make my butt look bigger"!!! LOL
I was also told that our rottie puppy we jsut got also loves the snow! I can't wait till we get our first good snow now to see what she does.

Re: Jake my Rotti

For a minute I thought someone else had a Rott named Jake then realized it was an old post of mine. Thanks - i could add these photo's to Inga's thread of Random Reminnicense...because these are the pictures I think of.

mandymmr - Jake loved it outside and yes he really liked the snow - IF it wasn't absolutely freezing out. I would throw snowballs in the air and he would catch them and eat the snow. He was a fun dog.

Re: Jake my Rotti

Nope to the hose and water. Sadly the owner before us wanted his dog to love the water and plopped him the pool. So Jake was never a big fan of water. When we were at a friends cottage I managed to get him to walk with me in the water just to his chest and play with the rocks - but that took a while.
