A morning at the dog park

We all went to the park this a.m. Daja did pretty well...she actually behaved (for the most part). I have to watch her like a hawk because some people think a dog park is a good place to bring small children and Daja will jump in their face. We had fun and she got to chase a bunch of dogs. Butch was Butch and Roxxy didn't stray very far from me...as usual.

This is the small side of the park (it's really pretty large although the big side is REALLY big). Daja never found the pond (thank goodness).

Butch has to make the rounds and pee on every blade of grass along the fence.

Daja was in her element...giving chase to anything that ran.

Roxxy didn't do anything so I have no new pictures of her. She was just happy being with mom! Thanks for looking.

Butch reminds me of my Toby, he also pees on every blade of grass. You have a very cute gang by the way!

Uh, Mr P, Daja's a she but we won't take it personally I have had such good luck at this park. Some people say the pond is contaminated but I've never had a problem. I try to keep them from drinking it but hey, dogs are dogs, right?

Unfortunately, the City of Houston, in it's great wisdom (yeh, right) has decided the street that it is on would be great for light rail. Wont' do many people much good but by golly, let's put it there anyway! It's been stalled and I don't know when it will happen but it will really suck if the park is shut down!

My appologies Daja

That would suck if the park closed,it seems that its the same all over, its hard to find greenery in abundance anywhere here.
