| Ain't they something! Here's a pic of Lulu the puppy working out on her springpole (she was 7 mos in these pics - TONS of drive from this one). Please ignore the lovely landscaping (LOL) small price to pay to work the dogs in your own yard!
Lulu and Coco holding down the couch...oddly enough, that is where the wife and I were once allowed to sit (LOL)
Teaching the dogs to share the couch - with me...excuse the amateur photo making abilities of my kid brother.
Don't know why he didn't just get the three of us in this picture - it ain't rocket science, bub.
Thanks for looking! |

Nice pup! I've always been a bit smitten with black APBTs...they look so sleek and shiny. Though if you take a look through Spicy's threads you'll see I'm 'smitten' with a great many color/marking combos .
Do you do any kinda sport with your girls? |

Nessa | Yeah, they're a kooky bunch...Lulu's mom's name is FreakShow, and I guess she earned that name doing some really weird stuff as a pup (LOL)
Pooch, I'll likely have a day in court over that springpole at some point. So it goes, I'm willing to make a stand...I know things are slightly different in the UK. Don't mess around dude, you'll end at Git-Mo Bay before you know it! (LOL)
Thanks, Pugs...and get that springpole finished! The dogs get such a good workout...since Lulu is a pup, I keep her springpole time limited (its a rough activity) but man, ten minutes on that thing and she's huffing/puffing.
Dakota, yeah those dark shiny coats do well in the light, but man, there are times when I look at Lulu's coat and think to myself, how in God's green earth did anyone design that! (LOL) It's not solid black, its a weird, Seal color. Oh well, we'll keep her
As for sports, I started looking into obedience or agility with Coco, but between her poor structure and reactive temperament, I decided to train her in the back yard and not for competition. Plus, she's old
Lulu on the other hand comes from a breeding program with true working dogs bred to produce working dogs. Several of her immediate relatives are police K9's (narcotic and bomb detection). You may be familiar with the LawDogs program in Washington state, which is were Lulu came from. She certainly has the drive to do the work but is waaaaay to people oriented to make a police drug/bombdetection dog (which takes a lot of focus, where Lulu just wants to play all day with new people), so the founder of the program, Diane Jessup, gave'er to us. And while there isn't any pressure from her to title the dog, we've recently started our tracking work, and I'll be working her in OB at some point.
The main goal that I have for her is to help me start what has been genericly called The Pit bull XGames (I'll post a video when I get a chance.) A while back, I asked for opinions on a youtube vid from some folks in Brazil that were doing some very athletic events with pit bulls - I want to get that going here in the USA. |

Thanks for sharing. |

For the stickers I use an electric blower, and I blow them under our storage shed...the ant hills go away with a mix of ly-soap and water. While it doesn't look pretty, it works great for the dogs.

| Re: Ain't they something! Mm, nice little history you've got there! I know a bit about Diane's dogs...Dirk was her 'special' dog, was he not?
I'm with Zim, though. Grim is one handsome boy. But then I also really like Freakshow. So obviously that line has something to my tastes.
More pictures please |

| Re: Ain't they something! not met...spoken to diane online once or twice...I just think Grim is like the most gorgeous Pit Boy....
a member here..Spicy has the female I think is most gorgeous.
I am just a tiny bit of a fanatic where my bullies are concerned....I consider them all my family because they are my dogs family and my dogs are my family.
I keep track of different dogs..just trying to assess what I want when my girls pass on and I can get that special dog. the one I will compete with... |
