What the heck am I?

Meet Mason. I got him from the humane society about a month ago, and no one can seem to tell me what he is. I've heard pointer (which I don't believe), lab (he's not big enough..about 13-15 lbs at 14 weeks) and beagle. Any guesses?

He doesn't bark like a beagle, and he has webbed toes.

I'm not too good with these, but my first thought was Brittany, not sure of anything else though.

Color wise, your pup does have a pattern not uncommon in Beagles. His structure is also a bit reminiscent of a young Beagle. It can be hard to tell with pups though. There are so many things they just haven't grown into.

Right now at best guess I'd probably say Beagle Cross, but it's very possible he's simply a Heinz 57

Beagle or some type of hound (Coonhound, Foxhound, Harrier....), and for some reason I keep think "spaniel", like a Springer or Brittany.

Whatever he is he is adorable!

He looks like what Ozzy might have looked like as a puppy and I have NO IDEA what Ozzy is! LOL When you figure it out let me know

Cute dog.. I just 2 weeks ago got a little dog and are in the same predicament..

A State trooper found 6 of them in a box.. I was just minding my own business at a pet shop(buying fish food) and she(the trooper) walked in with a box with 6 of those little suckers. At first I was like "cute, but I have too many animals already." Then, I went about my business, got the food and went to pay. They were all there in a box, and looked so cute. I picked one up and Boom, I saw Roxie. I didnt even think twice about not taking her. Now, I have 3 dogs, 25 birds, 26 fish and 1 cat(and my beautiful lizard died

..) Here's pics of her.. What do you think she is???? They tell me shit zue with something else....?

Your dog looks to have some Jack russell terrier in him. But he is young so he could have a larger dog in him. Time will only tell

I think they were talking to the original poster. You kind of hijacked the thread a little...

But, that pup is too young to tell anything. And, too young to be away from mom and siblings...but that's not under your control. Good luck with him/her!!!

oh, i dont mind that the post was hijacked :P i got all the info i needed. i think beagle is pretty much unanimous. its just whatever the heck else is in him. i kind of see brittany. anyway, thank you guys. i appreciate the input

as for the other unknown puppy, the brindle coloring reminds me of a boxer, or perhaps pitbull. the patchiness of the coloring, maybe aussie? i guess you'll have to wait and see.
