Thats great I love your backyard Ron It's so spacious. I didnt realize Esther was so big, and Molly has grown too it looks like (from the last time I saw her). I think the chuck it is a great idea, Im gonna want one of those for my future dog.

I don't know why but watching the chuck-it slowly grab the ball had me giggling. Is Esther the only retriever in the family? It looked as though Molly enjoyed chasing Esther more than retrieving.

Re: This is my life

Yes, Esther is the only retriever.

Molly is the anti retriever. Esther brings the ball back and drops it. If Molly gets it before I do, she runs to the opposite end of the yard and drops it in the bushes. Eventually, Esther will gather them all up, two-at-a-time, and bring them back.

That IS a push mower, but it's only a couple of years old. We have a Toro rider, but I use the push mower for places the rider can't reach. I was doing that one day when a young woman stopped and gawked and finally asked, "You mowed this whole lawn with that thing?"

I said, "Yeh, it takes a week, and then I start over."

Once I brought them in and tucked them in last night, I didn't hear a peep out of any of them.

Edit: On further review, what you saw was not the push mower but a trailer dolley. The push mower didn't make it into the video.

Re: This is my life

I must say "the slowly picking up of the tennis ball" adds a little bit of dramatic effect to the whole video.. =) LOL!

Re: This is my life

I'm glad you liked it, but it wasn't for dramatic effect.

It was the result of having both knees repeatedly bent in the wrong direction by a couple hundred pounds of running dogs.

Me too! It made me think that maybe Ron has one actual arm/hand, and the doctors replaced his other with a chuck-it. Or maybe Ron is a chuck-it robot....hmm. Although a permenant chuck it... my dogs would be thrilled!

Re: This is my life

If it wasn't for the fact that the dogs were running fast I would thought that Ron was showing the video in slow-mo!

It was fun to watch Ron...even if you were being body slammed repeatedly!
