The new fence is up, except for the gate...we put an ex-pen across the opening and let them try it out tonight...these pics say it all.

I fed them outside tonight too, and let them do their business, no walking three dogs out seperately on lead...

I fed them out there again this morning and let em zoom...soooo easy....but I'm thinking they're going to be out there under supervision only, except maybe for potty breaks. The two times we've been out today, the shelties barked almost constantly, and then a tennis ball went through the slats and Shiner fixated on it and paced the fence where it went through...untill he decided he could dig under to it . He didn't get far, I saw that coming and we went in the minute he started digging. So now project number one is teaching them that barking + digging = inside.

My neighborhood has rules about the type of fencing...has to be either wood picket, wood privacy, or iron. I went the cheapest route....but I'm going to have to run some chicken wire around the inside, as we keep losing balls...
