Riley turns one!

A year ago today, 8 sable and white puppies entered our world, one of which would enter my life.

Riley turns a year old today, and what a wonderful dog he has turned out to be.

In his first year of life, he gave me plenty of headaches(...February incident), but he has also given me many moments of laughter.

Happy Birthday Riley, and I hope I get to spend many more years with you.

What stands out to me is how sad he looks in all his little puppy pics, and how happy he looks now!! He is so gorgeous.

. I just got done giving the birthday boy a bath...whew, he has so much coat now...took forever to dry! He looks nice and fluffy now

SDO, I have not made his cake yet, and I am debating whether or not to do it. It seems birthday boy has the runs today(he left the surprise all over the carpet

), and I may not want to add something 'new' to his diet incase he is sensitive today. Why did he have to pick today to be explosive?

Harrise, Nope no trace now, he still doesn't look 100% uniform as the top coat is not in completely, but almost there!

Mycharlie, he does look pretty happy now. He has a 'perma smile' LOL

4dogs, I definitely will!

Thank you Rowdy, and I agree....I prefer his 'adult' look over the puppy stages, he went through all sorts of 'funkiness'!

MMM, LOL I may just have to do that, know any good recipes!?! hehe

Yesterday didn't go quite as planned, he had the runs all day(had to go out every few hours or so). I was going to take him to the pet store pick out a few things, and let him say hi to his vet(they really like him)...but I didn't want to take him out with his 'issue'. He is fine today, and he never lost his appetite...I think it was just 'one of those' days. Poor guy
