Ah-ha! It was Poca in the family room with the flip flop....

Caught in the act...

...Caught in the act again...

...and again....

...and again.

Just going through photos and found a disturbingly common theme....Poca chewing....and mommy getting tickled and grabbing the camera to take a shot of it! So much for taking advantage of teachable moments...

Poca was just thinking..."It would be more fun if there was more of this stuff... let's shred it!"

Poca thanks you for the kind compliments! She's a shepherd/husky/malamute/chinook mix. Seems like the shepherd is dominant (black east european GSD) as far as looks go and the husky is dominant in terms of temperament. So we have a guard dog who wants to run away! And yes, shred everything in sight!

I love her face. It's one of those I would have a hard time scolding (which you are obviously aflicted with this syndrome!) but I would have to rise above the cuteness and say bad dog!

Wow, I never noticed how incredible her eyes were. They are easily the best brown eye's I've ever seen.

Thanks. Her eyes border on yellow some times, which can make her a little scary looking. When she looks at you, it's one of the most intense looks you'll ever get from any creature, humans included. It's like she's always saying, "You WILL bring me all the finest treats and dog toys in the land -- NOW!!"
