Spring Day in the Yard

It finally broke 70 degrees up here! I'm so thrilled!
We decided to sit outside and enjoy it for a bit:

I'm very happy; I've only recently started using a digital camera and most of my pictures don't turn out, so these were a minor victory for me, lol!

Is her name Icesis? I'm horrible with names, never remember them and I see that in your sig next to her picture.. It's a very pretty name.

I love the pictures! Must say the first one is my favorite.

Yep, her full name is Black Ice (all the puppies in her litter were named after hazardous weather conditions, lol!)

You are doing a good job with your camera!!
So, i just thought of something- do you have to put sunscreen on her to keep her from getting burned??

The pink-skinned ones often do, yeah. But Ice is a dark enough color that she doesn't really need it... she's starting to tan nicely, in fact! You can't really see, but she has a line under her hair where the sun doesn't reach. It's really cute. =)

Depending on their color and how much sun they get, some dogs go from almost white/pale in winter to dark black/brown in summer. If you scroll down on this page, you can see some pics of the effect.
