Lol, Lucky was obviously none-too thrilled to meet Kobe. I love the picture of Ollie during that time though, he looks like such a dork

Apparently since I didn't tell him to stay, he laid down and crawled towards the crate until I said "stay" LOL. Clever dog.
Lucky (the cat) is very very old and grouchy. She doesn't like new things. Kobe is a new thing. Notice she's not even paying attention to Ollie. She will get over it. LOL. Quote:

Their first introduction was an accident (and the reason I decided to introduce them now instead of later like I planned). Kobe got past me and stuck his nose into the den of the Demon Cat.
And proceeded to get his ass whooped. He stuck his nose in, got a swat on the nose ( a warning one that she gives any dog or cat that bothers her). But Kobe didn't know what that meant so he stuck his nose back in, and Lucky came flying out and went ballistic on him. Kobe ran away and hid behind my legs.
I don't think he's ever met a cat an so never got a chance to develop a prey drive, but I'm pretty sure he never has been so well-owned by a small furry cat. So I suppose this was for the best. Better a dog scared of the cat than a dog wanting to eat the cat. | |
