| Do beagles like asparagus? I forgot to cut the ends off the asparagus and they ended up being too flimsy after I boiled them to cut... (Im a bad cook) So we ate what we could and when we were done I was over by the sink and Bailey was wanting some. I usually don't give any of my dogs table scraps but I figured, hey this could be funny. And it was. I think the only reason she ended up *liking* it was because they were doused in butter.
Notice the first whole piece she takes, chews, and spits out lol. |

| Re: Do beagles like asparagus? That vid is hilarious. When I first started feeding the dogs veggies, Ralph would be SOOOOOO interested to get people food, then when it was a carrot, green bean or broccoli, he'd take it gleefully (probably b/c it came from the people food area) then immediatley spit it out, Bailey style. I had to "trick" Ralph into eating his greens, by giving them to Ozzie (who LOVES them). Ralph would see that ozzie ate it, then go to town on his... |

She wont eat them mashed in her food, she will take the time to take a piece in her mouth, spit OUT the green bean particles, and proceed to eat the food. The dog just WANTS to stay fat! |

| Re: Do beagles like asparagus? I think chance liked it the best. I was fixing a peanut butter and banana sandwich and Snoopy was jumping on me and begging for what I was making, so I made him sit and give a small bit of banana to him. He promptly spit it out, rubbed his tongue on the carpet and ran! |

| Re: Do beagles like asparagus? My gal LOVES dill pickles and has eaten a steamed spinach leaf that got dropped on the floor, before. My parents have dogs that eat cabbage and asparagus. Dogs are a lot more diverse in tastes than we realize, I think! =) |

| Re: Do beagles like asparagus? great video-if I could only get my kid to eat asparagus! I know our beagle would most likely eat anything covered in butter...or without for that matter. I like Chance's chomping sounds too |
