| Re: Here's Summer! Such beautiful little dogs. We have a few of them working in obedience in our local kennel club. They are such great little dogs. No coat or not, just lovely. Just an observation, but it looks like your dogs could sneak through your fence. |

Summer is beautiful, whether her coat is blown right now or not. She has nice lines. And we were just discussing how "smushed" many of the papillon muzzles have become in our area, increasing the dental problems for one. I really like the heads on all of the dogs. Very nice. No overkill on head breeding.
Dang, I wish mine were that photogenic or that I was that good at photographing them! Beautiful! |

| Re: Here's Summer! Thanks guys. I may be biased, Inga, but I think they're amazing (and pretty) little dogs.
Oh yeah, they can get through the fence if they want to. Well, the larger two can't, but the little ones can. Beau is the only one who realizes this. You have to keep a good eye on him while he's outside. We have fencing regulations where we live so it's strict about what kind of fencing you can have and unfortunately those aren't the best for dogs. But they're not out there alone anyways- too many wild animals...
Yeah, Briteday, we have a lot of shorter nosed dogs around here too. A lot with very chihuahua looking heads. I've always been a big fan of the longer muzzle. They look so much more elegant that way. Heads are a big deal for me when I'm looking at breeders. I want someone with a correct head type in their lines. Of all my dogs, I think Beau has the nicest head type (which I guess he should being the only show dog of the bunch). |
