Oh my goodness!! Snow! Actual snow!

This morning my radio alarm went off and the weatherman said "Grab your raincoat, your umbrella, and your snow boots today folks, there's a chance of snow for the evening."

I actually laughed at that and thought "yeah right"! It never snows here. Yesterday it was 70. I'm always getting my hopes up when snow is in the forcast but it never happens. So you can imagne my surprise when I went to let the dogs out for a bathroom break before bed and found this:

I ran and got my camera, and in my short sleve pj's and wet hair I played in the snow and of course took pics of the dogs playing in the snow. The last time it snowed this much was when I was twelve!

This is the first time Vita has seen snow in her 2yr and 10 month life, and she loves it!

Sabre found his bone!

I took pics untill my fingers went numb, then I went inside put on my bathrobe, stuffed my hair into a beret, grabed some gloves and went back outside.

I could never get chewbone to come out and play with us, but the Shepherds and I had fun. Fessie not so much.

Mommy can we go back in the warm house now?

Yippy!

The dogloo became a real igloo!

Just snow falling from the sky.

What Fessie did when we went back inside.

Spoiled little thing.

I ended up with 52 pictures, and there will be more tomorrow before it all melts away. And next time I'll get pics of Chewbone also. Mwahahaha!

I just got pictures uploaded of the dogs in the snow too. Lol We're so deprived in Tx! Are you close to the Red River? They said they were going to get a lot of snow. They look like they had a blast in the snow!

Wow...never thought I'd say this, but, can you send some of that snow up to New England?? We're just getting rain!

Well, this is proof that all dogs love snow, even Texan dogs who are used to heat!

Re: Oh my goodness!! Snow! Actual snow!

I'm pleased to say, You guys can keep the snow down there as LONG as you like. I'm enjoying having little snow up here and acutally being bale to walk Carter down his normal summer trail which is in the woods with few other animals.

That is a ton of snow for TX. Stay safe when driving.

LOL, I couldn't help but laugh out loud at Professer sitting under the trampoline in the grass so he wouldn't get in the snow. Too cute.

Man that is a ton of snow. Hope you enjoy it while it last

Yeah, he's a little prince and he prefers not to get his paws wet.

lol! It looks like you and your doggies had some fun!!! xD, I'm kind of used to snow, but here we kind of got our record for the year! 5 feet drifts from just 1 snowfall! Angel loved it, although it got really messy when the snow started melting
