Good for you and he is adorable! What a sweet, squeezable face! I've changed dog's names before, too, it went fine. When I got one of my Shelties his name was "Spike" - not a good Sheltie name! - I changed it to Jack and he accepted it well (he was 4 yrs. old BTW).

He's adorable!! If you lived close to me, I'd come get him in a heartbeat! LOL

I'm sure once he gets used to the cat he will blend right in. You won't even remember your house w/o him... LOL
