Northeast. Suburbs really. It was so long ago, but I want to say, Northfield?? I'm not sure anymore. His Mum lives in Harefield and it was 45 mins on the Bus. I was there August 2003 (during that heat wave that stopped all the trains running because the rails were going soft) Doesn't it just figure, that I leave the tropics to visit rainy England and end up roasting?

When I was there in '90 it was march, but we had good weather too. And in '99 I had endless sunny days also. I think you English are just telling the rest of the world it's rainy, to keep us foreigners out.
I do remember she had a lovely garden(nan) and the ex's aunt lives in Morocco so we spent most of the time talking food (tagines and such)as she's a MARVELOUS cook. She's married to a Muslim and so we had the most AMAZING trifle made with orange juice instead of spirits. YUM!
