| Re: I can't be the only nut out there... This is a funny thread!
Mahalo is the only one with a matching set(all pink). The others grew out of the leashes...got to strong; so we had to do a bit of an up grade.Ted's will match in a week or so. I had to order him a new harness.
From the the looks of it in this thread you're not the only nut. You figure it doesn't cost any more for them to match then to not.
I love the picture of the underside of your dog. That looks about right. lol |

| Re: I can't be the only nut out there... That was a dumb and wierd remark from that guy. He must not have dogs or kids for that matter. If he does then his kids must be walking around with mismatch clothes. I must be a nut too cuz I have a brown leather collar and brown leather leash for my dog. |

| Re: I can't be the only nut out there... How does your leather hold up? My sleds can chew through it in one bite. Clean as a razor cut too, that's why we are nylon. An all leather group would look killer! |

The collar and leash are pretty puny compared to him so I don't know if it looks killer-haha. people are always saying-will that leash hold him, it's too small.- Quote:

| Re: I can't be the only nut out there... That's funny you brought this up. I just had to buy a new collar/leash/tag set because my puppy is growing so fast and what she has now does not match anymore. |

| Re: I can't be the only nut out there... Great. It's now been a week since I lost Bubba's collar, the only thing in the whole group that didn't match. Guess that means he's getting a black one. That completes the set, now everyone will have matching everything! I'm even considering getting each dog two or three sets, one for regular use, one for hikes and camping, and one for dressing up. |

| Re: I can't be the only nut out there... Hailey used to match, until I read somewhere that a rolled leather collar would cut down on the matting of her fur around her ruff and neck area. Now it doesn't matter what leash I grab, because she has so much fur around her neck, you can't even see her collar. I even have a purple lupine collar which is hard to see when she has it on when we walk. Works out great.

There's the first one with Sioux I never kept. At least their behavior has gotten to the point we haven't had one destroyed in about five months now. Right about when we started training. hmmmmm...
Wonder what the street value is on this... About 1/3 of it is chewed or pieced together somehow.

I was stunned one day when I came home and found he managed to get his jaw under the collar, which was tight enough to fit only two fingers under.
He hasn't done it again, but I've also never put a collar on him unless I am using the leash. I'd hate for him to get stuck with his jaw under the collar while I'm gone at work. That sounds like disaster. |
