this is Chloe...my first ever daschaund..but i dont think i want any other kind of dog now!!!! I love her...but am i correct in saying she is a black and tan daschaund??

Hi. No, black and tans are solid black with the tan points rather like the Rottie colouration. I believe, if I have my Daxi terminology right, she would be called a blue dappled? Each breed has its own " culture " and terms, maybe check on the internet. In some breeds she would be called a blue roan, but I don't think Daxi people use that term. She's a sweetie no matter what its called.

forgot to say, if she were a collie or a sheltie, that colour would be called blue merle, but of course there would be the white parts as well. Fascinating isn't it?
