They Sit Nice For Mommy

I used to have a problem getting Cain & Abel sit nice together for a picture. Either one is looking and the other one isn't or the other one is in the picture and the other just have half of his bum in the picture. But now, I cant believe it. I only have to say picture and they will sit nice beside each other. Abel's more into posing while Cain, he needs some work with his posing ability.

here they are waiting patiently while I am about 30 feet away from across the hallway (I had the camera in zoom that's why it looks as if I was closer). They look like two mosters waiting for their prey!

They were on SIT STAY for about 5 mins here. I had to make them wait while I grabbed the camera.

DOWN STAY

Just outside the door, waiting for me to come out.

Re: They Sit Nice For Mommy

MDAWN, when do you want to trade? JK.

I wouldn't mind having another dog like UALLIS, I actually told my betterhalf that if I could find an english mastiff for adoption in our area, I'd be adding another dog in our household.

Thanks RENOMAN for the compliment. Cain & I would have been history by now, if I wasn't quick enough to unplug the hairdryer. LOL! And I will not get this chance to take pictures of my boys together.

HAHA! I'm always trying to trade my dogs off for ones that are better behaved...especially on days that they have been rotten...Eddie's been good, but its been "one of those days" with Uallis...

I've also tried to convince Durb to trade me Snoopy for both of my dogs...lol

I know what you mean about getting an English Mastiff...I want another one so bad...but Uallis is only 10 months...and we have no room or money for another one at this point...eventually though...

Your dogs are seriously cute though. I love their coloring and their spiky collars are a nice touch...

Re: They Sit Nice For Mommy

They are actually outgrowing their collars. Just last night, we were already discussing about getting them new ones.

MDAWN, if one day you decide to come here in Canada and need someone to take care of your boys, you can always leave EDDIE and UALLIS with us. I'll take them both in a heartbeat!

Sure! You know, I'm getting a lot of dog sitting offers on this forum! LOL!! Too bad you all live so far away! Otherwise, I'd just drop them off in a heartbeat! You know, drive up late at night, throw them out of the car and speed away really fast?! At least on days when they are driving me insane. HAHA

Durbkat has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Re: They Sit Nice For Mommy

I'd trade with you Mdawn, but with my $30 a week budget and the small space I don't think I could handle him. With Snoopy a 8lb bag that only cost $8 last Snoopy for two months or more.

Your so lucky. It's like 30 something dollars for a 35 lb of Eddie and Uallis's food...it doesn't last anytime at all. Uallis eats around 8 cups a day; depending on how hungry he is, he may eat 9 cups....Eddie eats around 4 cups, sometimes less...he eats just enough to get by...not a big eater at all. So I'm putting out at least 12 cups a day....It's expensive...I probably spend around $140-150 a month in dog food. When Dan was still here it edged closer to $200, but at that time Uallis was eating Eagle Pack which drove that price up some.
For $8, I might be able to get a toy for Uallis that he won't destroy in less than a day...But that about all I could get.

Re: They Sit Nice For Mommy

Cain & Abel eat orijen, a bag of food (13.5kg @ $60+) lasts for about 15-20 days. It basically costs us $120+ for food and a couple thousand of dollars for GOOD FOR ONE DAY toys a month. Just kidding. If I am only gunna be buying just what they need, it'll probably costs us just about $200 for the two dogs. But knowing myself who cant focus on just getting what I need, I over spend here and there. I actually just bought a new poop scooper. My third since we got the pups. I cant blame them for this one, its winter and their poop is hard as rock when left for half an hour to an hour. I usually pick it up before it freezes but when the weather is cold, I wait till I find the courage to get out there and pick it up.

There is no way I could afford to feed them orijen at that price! I feed Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul Large Breed.

http://www.petfooddirect.com/store/p...QRGAXL9EK660A1

I used to feed Uallis Eagle Pack Holistic Select Large & Giant Breed Puppy but it was inconvenient to get as I had to order it online. God forbid if I misjudged and didn't get his new bag of food in time

http://www.petfooddirect.com/store/p...QRGAXL9EK660A1

I'd still feed it, it was just really a pain in the butt to get.

It's really annoying that EVERYTHING for giant breeds cost so much more. I have been looking for a new collar for Uallis for MONTHS. I can't find one big enough locally and every place I checked on line was extremely expensive or just had goofy looking designs all over the collar. It ticks me off to not be able to find a decently priced dog collar...And DOG TOYS...Arrrghhh!! That annoys me even more...I can't find a dog toy for Uallis that will actually hold up to his aggressive chewing AND I can't find one that is big in size. You know, the normal size red Kong? Uallis can literally fit the entire thing in his mouth and you could look at him and not be able to tell that he ACTUALLY has something in his mouth. He needs toys that are for dogs his size...I can't find them unless I pay out big bucks for them and again...order it online...He doesn't have many toys...hardly any actually but the truth of the matter is that I really couldn't afford to get him a lot of toys...Drives me nuts....sorry...I went off topic with that little tangent. LOL!! Just talking about the cost of dogs put me in the mind of it...LOL!!
