| Snoopy's first snow We had a light dusting last night, its already melted, so here are some pics from last night.
Snoopy loved the snow and he was leaping around and eating all the snow he can eat. lol I couldn't get many pics as Snoopy wouldn't look up to much as he was to busy eating the snow and it was 9 degree's so after a few min I couldn't feel my fingers and decided to call it a day. lol I don't see how the snow melted as its been in the teens all day with a wind chill that makes it feel like 1 degree.
I'll upload some vids and post them here soon. But in the meantime here is a vid of the new pics I took, the song is Paint it black by The Rolling Stones. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfIiiRzgu98 |

| Re: Snoopy's first snow Snoopy looks so handsome in his jacket!
We had about 2 inches of snow last night. This morning when I let the dogs out, Uallis ran outside and peed really quick and ran full speed back to the house! I guess it was too cold for him. Eddie stayed out for a few minutes and ate some snow. Eddie loves all different kinds of weather. He's stay out in a thunderstorm if I let him.... |

| Re: Snoopy's first snow That third picture is priceless!! "I'm gonna get you, you snow" Teddie hates anything wet on his feet. He walks as if he's got shoes on and usually wont even go into the grass if there is any dew.
Snoopy is such a cutie!! BTW he looks super cute with his haircut. |

| Re: Snoopy's first snow Snoopy looks so cute with snow all over his beard! Zoe loves to eat it too, and she always stands up with snow on her nose:
Sorry to hear Snoop is gone for the day...he will be just fine and you will be glad to get him back from the vet! I suggest going out and doing something you can't do when he's around...that's what I did to pass the time when Zoe was getting spayed (we went out to eat for a very fancy dinner and spent like 2 hours in the restaurant just enjoying taking our time for once!!). |

| Re: Snoopy's first snow He's gunna be fine DURB! I was like that too when the pups got neutered. I was at home all day, waiting for the vet to call me and tell me they did fine and when to pick them up. Dont be surprised if you pick him up and he looks confused. That's how they all are after the surgery. I wasn't prepared when I picked them up and I lost it and cried when I saw them. They can barely walk on their hind legs and has the "what just happened" look on their faces. But the vet assured me they are fine. Its just me I guess. Being a typical over protective MOMMY. |

| Re: Snoopy's first snow DURB, if snoopy wears a cone when he comes home, it will be cute. He is small so he wont cause you as much pain as my two did. I had bruises on my legs for the whole ten days that they had to wear their cones. Its extremely annoying when they sneak up from behind you and push you with their cones. I was very very HAPPY the day we took the e-collar off. Happier than them I guess. Here take a look at their pic, this was taken an hour after they came home.
They looked like this when they came home. An hour later, they are back to being their old self.. Funny and energetic. |

| Re: Snoopy's first snow Our Boston newspaper had a picture of the snowfall in KY. They should have used the pictures of Snoopy, it would have gotten more smiles. He's so cute and he'll be good as new soon or maybe even better If he has a cone, I'm sore you'll stop laughing long enough to take us a picture, right?

| Re: Snoopy's first snow Thanks guys! Well he doesn't have to wear a cone but I feel sorry for him as he his moaning in pain when he moves and he can't walk and its been 5 hours since the surgery. I called the vet and when I asked if being restless and moaning in pain was normal and they said it was just how some dogs reacted to the anthesia (sp?). That didn't make sense to me though. I also didn't like how the vet didin't explain anything, the nurses were the ones who explained things. |

| Re: Snoopy's first snow I suspect the doctor is right about Snoopy's reaction to the anesthesia. When I had my gallbladder removed, I woke up from the anesthetic shouting "I want to go home, I WANT TO GO HOME!" so loudly that they had to give me a sedative to get me to shut up. If it can do that to me, I'm sure it can make Snoopy feel restless and whiny.
It's a big deal, having your boy parts taken out. I'd probably moan a lot, too.
Give the Snoopster a hug from me and Alvin! |

| Re: Snoopy's first snow Poor worried little daddy. LOL I know how you feel. Ginger was out for over 8 ours and couldn't walk good for another 4 after having her teeth done a couple weeks ago. He should be fine. Maybe keep him confined to his crate for a few hours so he doesn't wobble and run into a wall or anything worse.
Just keep a close eye on him. He'll probably walk funny for the next couple of days and then your problem will be how do I keep this damn dog quiet. Did they use dissolving stitches or do you have to remove them? One week or 10 days? |

| Re: Snoopy's first snow You picked SNOOPY right after the surgery? My pups stayed at vet for another 7hrs after theri surgery. They monitored them and made sure there was no complication before they let us brought them home. The pups were asleep to they said after their surgery and woke up a couple of hours later. Before they let us take them home, we sat down with a vet assistant and explained to us the things that we should expect when we see the puppies and how to deal at home. Before the surgery, the vet explained to us the procedure of the surgery. I felt much relieved knowing my pups will be well taken care of. The vet also came to see us before we left with the pups, she told how good they were at the vet and she told us to bring them back for a check up after 14 days which we did.
I hope Snoopy gets better. Every dog has different reaction to pain. Hopefully, Snoopy will feel better soon. Give him kisses and hugs from me, cain & abel. |

He was walking all crooked and he had that same "what......just......happened....." look haha. but after a few days he was back to his (almost) old self. He was himself minus the HYPERRR!!!! He has calmed down and he can be left out of his cage without destroying things now! |

He is feeling better now and he is alittle clingy and is sitting on the floor in between my feet which is something he has never done. lol
They used desolving stitches I'm guessing as they don't need to see him till august. He also got microchipped. |
