Uallis and Eddie Christmas Pics...

Eddie in front of the tree...

We weren't able to get Uallis to sit still in front of the tree, so my bf had to stand there with him. My bf is 6'1 so you can use that as a size comparison.

This picture I thought was hilarious...so I had to post it...

Re: Uallis and Eddie Christmas Pics...

Looks like everyone had a ball. I had to put Chewie outside shortly after we started opening presents cause he just got too excited! So don't really have a Christmas pics of him. Uallis and Eddie look as happy as my kids were on Christmas morning!

Eddie looks so much like my Alvin...plus an extra eye, of course. Uallis looks like an ogre in that last picture. I am sure he wants to eat small children!

Re: Uallis and Eddie Christmas Pics...

If you notice in Eddie's picture there is a piece of treat right in front of him...Eddie is looking at my bf waiting to be "released" to eat it. That's how we got him to be still...Uallis hasn't quite mastered that...LOL!!

Uallis and Eddie are generally separated while in the house. When a picture was taken of one dog, the other wasn't in the same room. Eddie was in his crate when Uallis's pictures were taken. Uallis was gated in the computer room when Eddie's pictures were taken. If they have had a lot of activity and exercise then sometimes I will let them hang out together in the house because they are more calm and sleepy. Otherwise, my house wouldn't be standing. They are both way too big to be free to wrestle in the house. I've made that mistake before and furniture went flying.... Eddie usually hangs out in the kitchen and the mud room, where his crate is (he LOVES his crate). Uallis is usually in the living room or the computer room depending on which room I'm in. I don't like him in the kitchen unsupervised because he is a notorious counter surfer.... At night, Eddie is crated in the mud room and Uallis is loose in the mud room. Sometimes , Eddie sleeps in the kitchen and Uallis in the living room. Not very often though...ok, I just got carried away and went WAYYY off topic....

It's still in the box...I don't like to cook and I am a bad cook to boot...It was just this year that I was finally able to make a hamburger without starting a grease fire...no joke.

We eat out most of our meals unless I can put it in the microwave.

LOL Well they both look cute anyway. LOL Why won't Uallis stay by the tree by himself? Is he scared of it? Big baby boy. LOL

Re: Uallis and Eddie Christmas Pics...

I don't see how you keep them seperated everyday, I would just give up and take the gates up so they can be together.

Re: Uallis and Eddie Christmas Pics...

LOL! How do you keep them seperated? I dont think I will be able to seperate Cain & ABel. Even when we are walking, my betterhalf walks Cain & I walk Abel (or sometimes we'd swap), if me and Abel are behind even for about 5 feet, he'd start whinning so Cain would stop and wait for him.. BRAT! Cain is usually good at waiting for his brother, no matter how my betterhalf persuades him to continue walking he wont. Unless Abel is close again by another 2 or 3 feet. But they do sleep in seperate crates.

I let them wrestle inside the house, too. I sometimes join them, unless I am not in the mood to get hurt. But I dont think I will let them wrestle if they are both as big as UALLIS. No, thanks. I dont want my house destroyed.

Re: Uallis and Eddie Christmas Pics...

I figure I will be able to take the gates up at some point when they are older and more calm than they are now. Right now, they are just too rowdy with each other to be given free reign of the house together. Like Mudra mentioned, I don't want my house destroyed. Two large dogs wrestling in my tiny house....no thanks! If they were small breeds it wouldn't be an issue because they are less likely to destroy furniture in their play. They get to play with each other outside everyday....they don't need to be together in the house also right now. Since Uallis got his new crate, they are crated next to each other at night. They still bicker at each other through the crates. Uallis snores...it keeps Eddie awake, I guess because Eddie is always barking at Uallis, waking him up.

I just put down new laminate floor in my living room and i'll come home and my loveseat will be way across on the other side of the living room. For a couple days I was confused as to what was happening. Then I caught him in the act! Chance, my now 65 lb. German Shepherd will come charging through the living room and jump on the loveseat and it goes surfing across the living room. I swear he loves it and does it on purpose.
