A day at the park

I got Snoopy one of those retractable leashes that goes out 26 feet so I took him to a bigger park than he has been to before and he absolutely loved it! He ran around for awhile and got to see another dog and they played for a bit then I tossed the tennis ball for him for awhile and he spent the rest of the time sniffing. lol
Here are some pics,

"Come on, toss the ball, toss the ball!!!"

Being all so majestic ^

"oh, who's over there? Is that a kid I see!?!?!?!"

"ahhhhh, rolling in grass feels sooooo good"

I'll post some vids once they have been processed.

Re: A day at the park

Cute pics! Snoopy's getting so big.

How are you liking the retractable leash? I use one for Uallis for night time potty breaks because then I don't have to follow him all over the yard; I can just stand there and he can go where he needs to. It's much easier. However, I don't use it when I take him to the park because the stupid lock on it constantly sticks. I would probably just throw it away if I didn't use it for the potty breaks.

Re: A day at the park

I like it, I just got it today. But he seems to think he can go where ever he want to though. lol But we worked on his recall at the park and he came right to me except when I brought the ball out and then it was all over.

You should just get a new one if the lock keeps sticking, I got mine at the dollar store for $5 so it probably won't last long. lol

Here are some vids,

Also, its supposed to say "pt.2" but it must be an error on this part because it says it on my account.

Re: A day at the park

I paid almost $30 for mine. I don't think that I'm going to get another because my dogs are big and if they pulled on it hard then they could bust the mechanism inside, especially Uallis. Uallis is very very strong! The other day he ripped one of his gates off the wall it was attached to. It was nailed into the wall....

Re: A day at the park

LOL, As I was reading this I was trying to picture what would happen if Uallis started running and all he had to hold him back was a dollar store flexi leash. Bye Uallis..... It is unfair, everything cost way more for big dogs. LOL
Durb, Snoopy looks cute running after the ball. I bet he was having a blast.
