Just got him from rescue, they said Minpin x chi. I was thinking more like a rat terrier or beagle something. LOL. What do you guys think?

My best guess would be beagle/chi. But I'm no expert.

Definately beagle mix.

Definately see the chi in the face and ears. The only thing that looks min pin to me is the docked tail. Could almost pictsure some dachsund in there.

He sure has the beagle temperment. He acts nothing like a pin or a chi. I think the docked tail is throwing every body off. I have know idea why it's docked.

He looks like a Chi x Min Pin to me. He just doesnt look big enough to be a beagle if you ask me. And if your thinking of the coloring, Chi's can be that color. What is his personality like, what about his bark? Min Pins are high energy dogs (without a daily walk/jog/run).

Honestly, I love a mystery dog. He may be one-of-a-kind and even his litter-mates might look different.

I wonder if he's a stub-tail or if his tail was docked. (The latter seems unlikely.) I don't think there are many breeds that are naturally stub-tailed, so that might offer some clues.

There are big Chihuahuas and big min pins. I know someone who owns a pure bred Min Pin, the dogs head comes up to my knee, wayyy bigger than an AKC bred min pin. And same goes for Chihuahuas, I have seen Chis bigger than AKC bred Min Pins.

She is alot bigger than an AKC bred Chihuahua.

I have to say though that I think both these dogs are from BYBs.

Wow That's cool I never seen a big chi like that before. They did say he was over weight. So maybe he is what they said he is. He is such a good dog. He's my first and I couldn't be happier. He is sleeping at my feet while I type:-)
