Re: Does any one else dress there dogs up

I actually just finished making Teddie's costume!

Shih Tzu's are native to China and also Tibet so this fit perfect. I made the outfit from scratch, but got the idea from a site. My sister e-mailed the picture to me and I just had to make it for him. His Birthday is on Halloween day so...

I don't generally dress them up, unless there's a good reason. Which, usually there isn't LOL My greyhound Haley won a costume contest a couple years ago with this outfit:

And when we've been in holiday parades promoting greyhound adoption I've been known to put a seasonally appropriate hat and/or bandana on the dog(s).

Teddie, You have no idea how jealous I am of your sewing skills. LOL I can't even make a coat to fit my dogs. It is near impossible to buy one that fits well either. They are so chesty. I am not sure what my dogs will be wearing for Halloween More then likely the good old standby Tuxedo and clown suits.

Thank you both!

I've only had my sewing machine since May. I'm sure Teddie isn't to pleased or impressed with my so called "skills" lol.

I'm thinking of selling it after Halloween. Since he'll never wear it again. Inga to bad your babies are about four times as big as Teddie

Thanks again.
