| Re: Annoying the pets with the new Camera! (pic heavy) I got the Nikon D40X, I only have the 18-55 lens right now, its on loan because the 18-135 lens wasnt there. But next week I will have a better lens on.
I love this camera, I had wanted the D80 but in reality for price, the D40 suited me just fine. |

| Re: Annoying the pets with the new Camera! (pic heavy) Wow! Awesome pictures! That is a really really good camera! Do you have to do something special or different to use those cameras? Or are they similar to digitals? |

Its a whole new ball game, but the basics are still there, point and shoot, however there is far more control of the inner workings than a regular digi-cam.
It is bigger and bulkier than a regular digital so you need 2 hands for the most part, especially when manually focusing. |

| Re: Annoying the pets with the new Camera! (pic heavy) Very Cool pictures, all of them. So how many pictures can you get on your memory card? Will we be getting daily photo updates? Or, will it take you a week to fill the card? I know some are like 1000 pics on each card. I have trouble getting pics developed from Christmas by July. Yes, I know I best take my camera out of the bag a little more often. LOL |
