This is Ryder, my 2.5yr old Great Dane. He is a rescue I took in when he was 3 weeks old. When I brought him home he fit in my hand. As you can see he out grew that quickly.
Thanks guys. I of course think he is beautiful, but I may be a bit partial. I need to get better about posting pictures of him. I love taking them, just never post them :-)
He is gorgeous! My friend has a female fawn with mask. Looks a lot like him. They are such sweet dogs. Sometimes she lays on her back with legs up she reminds me of a deer on the side of the road. She is such a clown.
He looks so regal! Does he like to sit on your lap? Every dane I have know would plop down on the couch or in the chair beside me like a person...too funny!
What a lovely boy I've recently been working with a Dane at my local shelter. He's really really shy, even a bit submissive to small dogs. I love him to death but it’s always interesting to see that big old Great Dane crouch down in submission to a little Dachshund.
