Here are some pictures of my darling boys. Duncan is the lab mix. He is 8yrs old and I rescued him at 8months old from the local shelter. He is a lab/red-bone coonhound mix. He is named after Duncan MacLeod from Highlander and his middle name is Michael after my brother because when he was younger he was wild like my brother.
Patrick is a 1yr old Goldendoodle (or golden retriever/poodle mix for those that don't like cutsie designer dog names). He was born last 4th of July so he is named Patrick Henry after one of our founding fathers.

I felt I needed to post a picture of my 14 year old cat Zoe, also. It is not a great picture but she doesn't like to be bothered and she was probably not happy with one of the dogs since she doesn't like them. I have had her all of her life (literally, since her mom was a stray who had her kittens in our back yard shed). I kept her and her brother (Alex) but Alex died almost 2 years ago from congestive heart failure--he had a heart murmer all of his life.

They are both lovely fellas The Coonhound and lab makes a very handsome mix. Zoe is a very pretty kitty.

Thank you. Everybody thinks Duncan is a lab but his tail is longer, his ears are longer and if he wasn't chubby he is much lankier than a typical lab. Also, his coat has a red sheen to it in the sunlight. He is really a beautiful dog!!

He is. He is really well behaved and very sweet and smart. He is a little timid for such a large dog but I'm working on that. Trying to get him out and about more so he can experience more of the world.

great pictures! I had a poodle who passed away about a yr. ago. his name was duncan TOO! and he was ALSO named after duncan macleod. wierd coincidence.. thought id throw it out there.lol

That is so cool! I really loved that show and since Duncan means "dark warrior" I thought it fit my Duncan really well.
