I probably could have put these in my other picture thread, but as they aren’t really shelter dogs I figured a new one would be more appropriate.
Anyway, every year my local Humane Society hosts a 'Dog-A-Thon' which is basically a one day festival featuring dogs. There are venders, games, BBQ, demonstrations (Frisbee, herding, ect.), and a 1 to 4 mile walk. I particularly enjoy it because you see so many breeds that aren’t normally out and about, plus its just fun to see people having fun with their dogs. Needless to say, I snapped a few shots from my spot of duty and wanted to share them
. I worked at a water stop along the trails this year so the majority of the pictures are of dogs drinking and/or laying in the water.
