| A walk in the park after a rainstorm It's been ridiculously hot and dry lately. This morning, it's still cloudy from last nights rain showers and thunderstorms, it's not too hot yet, and the grass is still wet. Good time to go for a walk.
On the top of the hill that descends into the park...
I can usually get the best expressions out of him by saying things like "Where's the bunny?" or "Where's the kitty?" or "Where's Gracie?" (his kitty-sister).
"There's mud EVERYWHERE! This is GREAT!"
More puddles and mud.
More to come... |

| Re: A walk in the park after a rainstorm They might need to use a little Weed-B-Gone on the basketball court.
Welcome to the jungle...
I'm still in love with the white birch trees along our trail.
A funny expression a nanosecond before a yawn.
More to come... |

| Re: A walk in the park after a rainstorm "I've got a very fuzzy bottom."
I have pictures of him with these trees in winter, spring and summer now. Not that I'm anxious for summer to end, but I am looking forward to how gorgeous the autumn pictures will be.
"Perhaps we can go this way now?"
"Any bunnies in there?"
And then we hoofed it back up the hill and went home. |

| Re: A walk in the park after a rainstorm The funny thing is, I lived here nine years without even knowing the park and little hiking trail was only two blocks behind my house.
I've "discovered" much more of my neighborhood since getting a dog.
Unfortunately, since we go to the park daily, and it's usually empty, and it's so close to the house, Beavis thinks it's an extension of his yard, and gets highly insulted if dogs or people he doesn't approve of are using his park. An entire soccer team practicing? Not a problem. A little league game? That's fine. But one lone jogger? Does not belong in Beavis' park. |

| Re: A walk in the park after a rainstorm Amazingly, Beavis did not need a bath after his soccer games. It was too late to bath him at night (after our 2nd game ).
The next morning, his chest & belly were back to normal, back to white again. Dirt just falls off him.
This is after our first go round with the soccer ball, but before the second. |

| Re: A walk in the park after a rainstorm Wow, Green grass. Something I have not seen in awhile. We are having super dry weather. Actually it did rain some last night, but not enough to come even close to catching up. The grass is brown and crunchy. Your pictures are really cool. Beavis looks like he is having a very good time. It must be funny to look at the world from such a low angle. |

| Re: A walk in the park after a rainstorm Everywhere here has green grass even though we haven't had rain in about a month. But I guess thats because everyone has been watering their lawns more often. |
