UMMMM, had it been MY kid I'd have been SCREAMING at the managment! I say that as a person who bartended for 10 years and worked in the hospitality industry for 15. There is NEVER an excuse for such a mix up and someone would have been out of a job!!!! Hopefully the ABC Board will investigate the incedent and site the restaurant.

They may have been in the same type of container but usually alcohol containers have that funny top on them. It may have been an honest mistake but you better believe I wouldn't have been that calm about it.

The article is no longer current, but on a similar topic, don't some states allow children above a certain age to have alcohol in the presence of their parents?

There used to be a few states that did that (I think you had to be 16 though) I know Mississippi did and abolished the law in the late '80's or early '90's .
