What does LOL mean to you?
Do you say its Laugh out loud or lots of laughs?

I know it doesnt really matter but my sister and friend want to know what it really means.

yeah laugh out loud. My one friend gets mad when she's over at my house and I'm on aim. I always say lol but never actually do it. She says I just shouldn't say it but I'm like whatever. It was funny I just didn't feel like actually laughing about it.

LOL= amusement to me. laugh out loud for a translation. On aim it can also mean I have no idea what to say but I feel like I am supposed to say something. Same thing with hehe.

In Welsh the word "lol" means silly rubbish. Fits the bill sometimes.

I also think "laugh out loud".
And I have a whole "lol" system to know whether or not someone is really laughing.

lol = I don't know what to say or that was sorta funny but I'm not laughing.
LOL = haha that was pretty funny (probably giggling)
LOL!!!!! = I'm really laughing....and if I say "LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" with alot of exclamation points, I'm probably laughing REALLY hard.
