Are you tired of the politicians yet?

Since there seems to be quite a struggle going on in our government for political gains, how do you feel about it?

Are the democrats really worried about our soldiers?

Are the republicans really interested in our soldiers?

Are any of the politicians worried about us, the people that voted them in?

How do you really feel?

I'm tired of politics/politicians. I don't think many of them care for anyone but themselves. I think most of them are a bunch of hypocrites, and I really wish the government would back down and give a lot of the power/control back to the people. I'm tired of having a babysitter government. (However that's not really possible at the moment. The government would need to slowly ease out of the position rather than just handing it all back in one blow. I don't think our citizens could handle it all at once. Why? Because the majority is so used to having the Big Babysitter.)

I am also sick and tired of this government. All they care about is big bucks ..and oil! It's so redicoulous...!!! They aren't doing anything for the better...just for the worse .

Shouldn't this under the other politics thread ? :P

Well pepperoni, I started a new thread hoping you wouldn't see it and we could get some serious verbage. It's a joke Ali, so don't go ballistic on us and have a temper tantrum.

Actually I posed a couple of questions that only Mr. N has commented on. I was always a believer that a forum should stay on subject to be an effective tool of learning. Emotions cloud the issue so I would hope some mature people would enter in this topic.

Re: Are you tired of the politicians yet?

I don't believe the politicians care about much more than money and status, this goes for both party's. Hypocrite is the best word used in this thread to describe politicians. I refuse to side with any particular party because of the way the politicians use specific issues to gain money and status. [edited] The problem is Republicans have had control of the White house, Congress, and arguably the courts for several years and just as many, if not more, abortions have been carried out during this time as before. If those Republicans actually cared about what they said they cared about don't you think abortion would be illegal or severely limited by now? The Democrats are just as bad about several issues as well, this is just one example of many I could possibly offer. I still vote, but I end up voting for the person who I think will do the least harm to our country instead of the person I think would be best for the job. The people that would do a good job usually are too smart to run, like Collin Powell, man I wish he would run for president next

Yeah, in that bottom right picture Lily was standing up and trying to reach something. She does that occasionally, I think it has something to the effect of making a game out of stretching, because thats all she is doing, stretching but shes having fun doing it! My silly Lily kitty!
