A REALLY weird question

I was just wondering how everyone cuts their fingernails. Some of my friends hate having their nails short and need to leave them long. Me, I cant' stand that. I nearly always have to have my nails clipped short, or they get in the way. Plus, short nails don't get dirty nearly as easily!

I have them short. If they are anywhere past my finger then they dig into my hand when I am writing for school (notes during lecture). Plus I have always had them short for soccer.

Plus working with dogs and cats and long nails dont mix well for me!

I used to bite them short a long time ago. But then I decided I shouldnt and I worked real hard to kick the habit! Also in Microbiology I am learning there are all kinds of bacteria that you get under your nails!

I bite my nails alot, I've tried everything to stop and it doesn't work lol..Mine are always so short, but I like them better short.

I only cut mine once they get long. If I'm lazy, my fingernails will get really long before I remember to cut them.

Oh... and you should see my toe nails sometimes.

Mine have to be somewhat short for orchestra, but I let them get long enough to come to the tips of my fingers. I find really short nails disgusting....as are really long nails lol. My toenails......yeah....what he said- out of sight, out of mind.

Mine are "medium" and I can't have them any longer, otherwise they'll bite into my palms when I'm shooting handguns.

I love to do my own manicures. And then I do my husband's feet - he's got icky toenails and I have finally buffed them down to looking civilized. He whimpered the entire time. I told him he was lucky I don't have a Dremel.

I keep my nails short on my left hand, but longer on my right hand. I feel out of balance otherwise...plus my guitar picking wouldn't be as crisp if I kept both hands the same length.

doberman, that pic is nasty.

i hate clipping my nails. they feel "off" for about 2 days after the procedure. on the flip side, i can't stand having them long. there is that week long period where they are just right.

any guys out there ever had a manicure or pedicure?

i never thought i would do it, but a good friend took me with her for pedicures after my college graduation. it is actually really nice. they dip your foot in hot wax and then massage your calves.
