Chinese and Korean treatment of Dogs

The Chinese and Koreans have again institute a dog culling where dog are taken away from households and beaten to death in the streets. Mobs make noise at night baiting the dogs to bark and give away their locations.

The Moran Market in Korea - the evil acts that go on there are way beyond imagination. Lets just say that they they are quoted in saying that pain inproves the flavor.

Without instilling mental images of the horrible cruelty that is inflicted on our beloved creatures - we need to act as a community to raise awareness and as such implement change.

We need to respond to the press and world news and politicians that this is not an issue we are willing to let go. We can do these things:

Become aware of where the productes we consume are coming from - we can no longer be blissfully ignorant since we live in a world market.

Spread the word that we care about the mean in which animals are dipatched- - and that must be carried out in a humane, dignified, and stress free manner in which our great technology will allow.

Be respectful and polite in our means in spreading the word.

The images and stores are too horrendous to be ignored.

Remember - All thats required for evil to prevail is for good people to do nothing.

I agree 100% and have written letters and signed petitions.

And altho this is a dog forum, comprised of 'dog lovers', apparently I am a hypocrite because I eat cows and supposedly the vast majority are abused.

I don't think you are a hypocrit-- that is, unless of corse you are talking about them eating the dog. Personally, I don't care what kind of animal anyone wants to eat so long as it is able to live a happy life up until that point, and die in a way that doesn't involve mass amounts of pain.

I personally believe that most animals which are used for our food are infact treated inhumanely more often than not. The way they are slaughtered is absolutely ridiculous as well. But, you can always avoid supporting places that treat their animals cruely by getitng your meat from a local butcher, who only takes cattle which have been pastured most their life. We have a place like that here, it's nice.
