As of last week (April 6th, 2007), religious debate is hereby outlawed on this forum. Unfortunately, after given several chances, most of the members were not able to have CIVILIZED religious debates, and all threads have ended up in flame wars, hurt feelings, and intolerance.
This is why we're going to have to have some zero tolerance of our own. Here is the rule, broken down:
- Members may MENTION religion in already existing threads.
- Members MAY NOT reply with arguments/debates to members who have mentioned religion in an already existing thread.
- Members MAY NOT create threads about religious debates and such threads will be immediately locked.
Sorry we have to do this, but it seems many members are not mature enough to debate this, or do not understand that debate does NOT equal verbally tearing each others' heads off.
