| To the moderators... Will my bible thread ever be re-opened? Or was it just too argumentative to be re-opened? |

| Re: To the moderators... I honestly don't know dear. I'm sorry it went down hill, we tried it since the Politcal discussions had gone well, but maybe it's not a topic that can go well on this type of forum. Too bad, it could have been enjoyable. |

| Re: To the moderators... I am SO sorry that got closed! It was a great idea, and would've been perfect if it hadn't gone downhill, as cshellenberger said. So sorry! And they closed the other one too, even though it wouldn't have turned into any arguments. I say, if you don't want to hear about it, you don't have to click on that thread! |

I'm intrigued by how religion affects people. =O |

| Re: To the moderators... Jaylie,
I closed that thread. After what happened I though it best to let it rest for a while. |

| Re: To the moderators... Yeah, im sad it got closed because it was a great thread and I got my answer and I was so happy. I totally understand why it got closed though. I just dont want to go searching for a religion forum, its kinda hard to establish an account like I have here. But I guess if I really want to talk about it then I will have to find another forum. Probably wont happen since I barely have time to get on this one only. |

| Re: To the moderators... Perhaps when the thread is reopened, if it will be, anyone who purposely offends someone with a rude comment, a dismissal of beliefs, or whatnot, said person should be -warned-. If said person commits the act again, ban? Maybe a temp-ban, or such? I think if people want to -discuss- religion, then they should be allowed to, so long as it doesn't turn into a flame-fest. =/
But I'm fairly new here; maybe you guys do differently? =O |

The warnings are meant to benefit the member, but banning is meant to benefit the whole of our forum. |

| Re: To the moderators... Somewhere on this BB there are some questions and concerns about dogs going unanswered because everyone would rather debate whether so-and-so should have had one more warning before being banned.
I'd like a show of hands from the dog lovers who are willing to get back to what we all do best: talking about dogs.
This is embarrassing. If anyone has stumbled across this normally excellent forum for the first time tonight, they are thinking, "Dog lovers? I don't see any dog lovers here."
And this is exactly why I will resist any efforts to encourage the kind of off topic debates that can best be handled elsewhere. |

| Re: To the moderators... Im sorry my thread turned bad. I was hoping I could make a good thread where everyone could talk nicely but I guess that is impossible on this forum. I tried and I wont do it again. If I really want to know about that topic I will go elsewhere. But lets get back to dogs and other animals! |
