Need to sleep

Worked last night (7pm-7am) and now it's 11am and I'm still awake. Luckily I have tonight off so it doesn't really matter if I sleep or not but I can't seem to put the computer down and stop lurking around DF. Also can't turn my TV off and The View is on next. Guess I'll be up for another hour. I know when I start getting twitchy that I'm beyond exhausted and it's lights out.

Re: Need to sleep

I know how it is to be severly exhausted and not even be able to think about sleeping. I started taking melatonin on bad nights. It has helped immensly!

Re: Need to sleep

It's really easy to stay awake when you're at the computer or watching TV. Normally if I'm at the stage you're at I walk around for a few minutes and then realize how tired I am.

Re: Need to sleep

It's definitely easy to stay awake putzing around online or watching TV. I think what I've been doing lately is keeping myself awake to the point that when I put down the computer and turn the TV off I just fall to sleep in two seconds. I dread and almost fear lying awake, trying to sleep and having to listen to my own thoughts. I can't turn my brain off and I start to get anxious about money, moving, my job, etc (the normal stuff). Anyway, I'm getting to the point that my limbs can't stay still which means I'm almost there!
